the entire body system. Some of the tools she uses to help people
reduce and eliminate pain include:

Healing Joints and Easing Pain through Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is a well-respected, non-invasive method
of healing joints and easing pain.
Through prolotherapy, torn ligaments and cartilage are stimulated to repair
themselves, often helping patients avoid steroid injections and surgeries.
This can also result in no more pain medication and no more pain. Dr. Alt works
with sports teams and individuals, encouraging the body to heal itself. Dr.
Alt is an active member of the American Academy of Sclerotherapy and Pain Management,
a recognized Subspecialty of the American Osteopathic Association.
Prolotherapy recreates inflammation in joints, ligaments
and tendons where laxity has allowed the development of pain, cartilage
tears, and loss of strength. Dr. Alt uses ultrasound to identify
specific tears of the area of concern.
Restoring the Body’s Healing Functions
with Osteopathic Manipulations
Dr. Alt uses her hands and her heart to do body osteopathic treatments, cranial
sacral manipulation, and foot manipulation to restore the body’s healing
function. Dr. Alt integrates her osteopathic training to help every aspect
of each body system.
Dr. Alt helps reduce pain and return strength by
manipulating trouble areas such as necks, rib cages, low back, pelvis,
legs, and feet. She also uses cranial sacral manipulation, helping
balancing and control the body and energy functions.
How does manipulation help people. How does cranial sacral help people?
