Dairy products are without a doubt the major cause of "leaky gut syndrome" in the pediatric patient under the age of two as stated by the America Academy of Pediatricians. Why we don't hear about it? come on! Think our food safety is the government concern over economic gain of subsidized industries like the American Dairy Industry. In a nutshell we have a DNA reaction at the gut level and form antibodies against milk proteins leaking into the gut.
The titers become so high that things that look like milk come under attack, the myelin sheath for MS, thyroid tissue for hypothyroidism, beta cells of the pancreas causing diabetes, osteoporosis, cartilage tissue for osteoarthritis and rhumatoid arthritis, sinus and bronchial tissue for sinusitis and asthma, and skin disorders like psoarasis.
The next thing found in milk are pesticides. And finally if not enough live pus is found in milk not killed by the pasteurization process. Now xenoestrogens (false hormones) if not enough we get extra injected or ingested hormones for better milk production or fat marbling for taste if we're eating animal meats. Xenoestrogens sit in the keyhole, don't turn anything but block our already depleted hormones from having a site to work on.
We need to eat according to the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association Food Pyramid. Briefly, 4-6 fruits and 4-6 vegetables a day. Fresh or frozen, canned has lost almost all it's nutrients. Serving sizes are the size of your individual fist. Carbs should be complex (meaning whole grains-not white processed) and limited to 3 serving per day unless you're doing strenous training. Meat, oh my, should be limited to THREE SERVINGS PER WEEK (yes, per WEEK).
Contamination with pesticides in order from highest to lowest is chicken, turkey, beef, pork, and then fish. All fish especially tuna is mercury contaminated. Eat only limited servings of cold water fish for the omega 3 content including salmon, cod, and walleye (this should be wild-not farmed fish for the least amount of mercury contamination).
Fat is killing our country, with 80% of Americans obese with 60% morbidly obese. Look at our kids, men and boys with their shirts off that look like they need bras, 4 and 5 year old kids with pubic hair, 8 year old boys with voices that have dropped. Don't tell me we're not adding hormones in our diet (in the form of xenoestrogens) and pesticides that are raising our incidence of ADD/ADHD and cancer. The only safe water to drink is reverse osmosis or distilled water.
Not all bottled water is safe. It must say purified on the label. Nutritional supplements are for everyone. We are deficient because food is deficient of vitamins and minerals over the years. We do not eat what our grandparents ate. Each decade we drop in the world for longevity in the United States while our disease processes are soaring. We all need to know how to watch out for ourselves and our own health and then become involved in saving the contamination of our world's food and water for one another.
